Mature tangerine Peel (CITRUS TACHIBANA TANAKA):
Dried Tangerine or orange peel: it has the effect of regulating Qi and strengthening spleen, drying dampness and resolving phlegm. Main Treatment Spleen and stomach Qi stagnation syndrome, vomiting, hiccup, wet phlegm, cold phlegm cough, chest pain.

Physiological characteristics
1. Tangerine peel: often peeled into several petals, connected at the base, and some are irregularly sliced, 1 to 4 mm thick. The outer surface is orange-red or red-brown, with fine wrinkles and concave dotted oil chambers; the inner surface is pale yellow-white, rough, with yellow-white or yellow-brown tendon-like vascular bundles. The quality is slightly hard and brittle. It has aroma, pungent and bitter taste.

2. Canopy tangerine peel: often connected with three petals, neat in shape, uniform thickness, about 1mm, punctate oil chamber is large, it is transparent and clear to light. The quality is softer.

Orange peel effect means that some paints will have a texture on the surface after drying, showing the irregular texture of the peeled orange peel surface. Although this is normal and acceptable when certain paints are used, it is still considered a defect. Some paints are required to dry out and the surface is very smooth.

Tangerine peel, also known as tangerine peel, is the mature peel of the Rutaceae plant tangerine and its cultivated varieties. Orange evergreen small trees or shrubs, cultivated in hills, low mountain areas, along the banks of rivers and lakes, or plains. Distributed in various regions south of the Yangtze River. When the fruits are ripe from October to December, the fruits are picked, peeled off, and dried in the shade or in a ventilated manner. The orange peel (chen peel) is often cut into 3 to 4 pieces when peeled. Tangerine peel (chenpi) medicinal materials are divided into “chen peel” and “guangchen peel”.
